Tropical Animals and More ~ Sculptured Cedar Mailboxes in the Woodendipity Style

Woodendipity has closed it doors after more than 20 years of creating fun and functional Art but the People Pleasing Tradition has lived on in these beautifully hand sculpted Cedar Animal mailboxes .

Construction starts with a standard U.S. Post Office approved mailbox, around which we construct a cage made out of exterior B.C. plywood. Then we cover the plywood with layers of Western Cedar. This gives the textured layered look to our unique one of a kind Sculptured MAILBOXES. The door and back are also covered in cedar for a finished look. A wooden base plate is added to the bottom for post mounting.
After construction, these mailboxes is sent to the spray booth, to be covered inside and out with a protective layer of exterior paint. Then, he moves on to the art studio, where our artists add their own mix of realistic colors and details to bring him to life. Only the finest exterior acrylic enamel are used for painting. And as a final step,  multiple coats of exterior polyurethane are added as a protective coating.
