over the top of a standard pressure treated 4 x 4 post .. which we
recommend using to mount your COOL NEW Mailbox! All brackets are drilled to
be used with these novelty mailboxes boxes but can be used on any
style box with a 6" or wider flat bottom. They are heavy duty 1/8 " plate steel with all holes predrilled
,screws and bolts included, powder coated black.
The brackets are designed to slide down over a wood 4x4 post [ not
included ]. Lag bolt the bracket to the post, then lay the box on
top of the bracket and bolt box to the top plate of the bracket.
